'Om Mani Padme Hum' is another Buddhist mantra for our Awakening. Awakening means waking up to the Truth. This six syllabled Sanskrit mantra its the essence of the Bodhisattva of Compassion. "Om" the Universal sound, 'Mani' meaning 'Jewel or Bead' and 'Padme' means 'Lotuse Flower'(Buddhist sacred flower). ' Hum' is the sound of Enlightenment.
We might consider this mantra a key to spiritual freedom from every day suffering, for when we shine the jewel of compassion in our hearts, and water the flower of deep wisdom within, eternity is revealed.
